Camp Wing Work Day & Alumni Committee Informational Session

Saturday, May 10th

Please join us on Saturday, May 10th for our annual Camp Wing Work Day.  Come help us as we prepare Pioneer Village, the Munroe Council Ring and all of Camp Wing for the summer!

Then stay for an open Alumni Committee Informational Session to learn about all of the ways you can get involved with our Alumni Community!  

Light Breakfast 8:30 am
Work Begins 9:00 am
Alumni Committee Info Session/Lunch 1:00 pm

Alumni Day 2007

Mr. Paul Poirier Honored for service to Camp Wing

Crossroads for Kids Annual Alumni Day was held on Sunday, August 12th at Camp Wing.  Alumni spanning 8 decades traveled from all over the New England to share their memories with their families, reconnect with old camp friends and participate in camp activities.   Much to the dismay of camp staff, Alumni maintained their winning record in the Alumni vs. Staff canoe challenge.

A highlight of the day was the presentation of the Richard Gavone Alumni of the Year Award to Mr. Paul Poirier (Mr. P.) who worked as the Camp Wing baker for over 20 years.  While baking breakfast pastries, rolls and desserts for lunch and dinner daily, Mr. Poirier could always be counted on to provide encouragement and support for campers who often had few role models.
