Guidelines for Arrival

Please arrange for your group to meet with the Director of Crossroads Connects, to introduce camp staff, explain camp rules, dining hall procedures, and any other important information.

Vehicle Policy

At our site we take effort to conserve the natural environment around us, so, please refrain from using vehicles on site. We also suggest that you limit the amount of vehicles on camp by efficient car pooling, driving vans, or buses.  However, guests with limited mobility, or with conference related equipment to unload, are permitted to drive into camp by prior arrangement with the Director of Crossroads Connects.

Parking on Camp

Stockade - Upon entry to the Stockade driveway, parking is available along the track to the left and directly in front of the Stockade next to Kennedy Pool.

Camp Wing - Parking is available along Keene Street, adjacent to the large Spread Field. Please refrain from parking in the drop-off area in front of the Barn.

Please have the following paperwork prepared and ready to give to Director:

  • List of all participants names and pertinent health information
  • List of all adult chaperones (Ratio of 10:1 minimum) pertinent health info (Youth groups)
  • Pre-plan for medical supports/protocols for emergency transportation.

Guidelines for Departure

Please arrange a time to go over checkout procedures with your group and the Director of Crossroads Connects.

Before departing camp, Crossroads Connects politely ask that the group leader ensures cabin and meeting spaces are clean.

  • Debris and lost & found are removed from bunks, bathrooms and other rooms.
  • Group signs, tape, pins, etc. are removed from cabins and meeting spaces.
  • Floors under bunks, tables and in corners are swept.
  • Toilets are flushed.
  • Lights, fans, doors & windows are closed.
  • Make a list of broken, missing or damaged items, leaks, etc. Give list to the Director of Crossroads Connects.

Please set aside a few minutes for your group to fill out our evaluation forms. They are an invaluable tool to help us improve our facilities and service for future groups (Which we hope to include YOU!).

Staff will supply copies and pens

If you bring large items, or excessive supplies that require disposal, please be prepared to take them with you. We have dumpster sites, located to the side of the main dining hall and in front of the Stockade. Please break down your boxes and make sure garbage bags are tied. Unfortunately, we do not have recycling on camp, so we kindly ask that you bring recyclables off camp.

Finally, don’t forget to schedule and organize transportation for your group.
