Students are nominated by their schools or another youth-serving agency because they have demonstrated great potential while growing up with difficult circumstances and limited resources. Community partners are asked to nominate students who maintain a B average, are highly motivated, demonstrate leadership qualities and come from families with an average income of $10,000 or less per family member.
