Field Trips

Each session, we offer different off-camp field trips, something we started a few years ago and which has turned out to be a big hit with the kids! In the past few summers, trips have included ice skating, the Children’s Museum, Franklin Park Zoo, the New England Aquarium, Duxbury beach, and more. Each trip includes time to eat lunch, relax and play away from camp with friends at a park.

We offer two trips each session, both on the same day. One is geared towards campers age 9 and younger, and the other for ages 10 and up. The trips leave by bus just after morning announcements at camp and return to camp in the afternoon before dismissal, so you you’re your child to camp and pick him or her up as you would on a usual day. These awesome excursions are fully staffed and supervised and fill quickly so we recommend that you sign up for them when you register your child for camp. And, if you choose not to send your child on a field trip, don’t worry—there’s plenty going on back at camp: swimming, electives, activities, and everything your camper would do on a normal camp day.
