A little rain could never stop Team Crossroads and all our friends and supporters from having a great day for an incredible cause! The Rodman Ride for Kids, which matches every donation you make by an additional 10%, is renowned for a reason, and it is their dedication to the kids! Thanks to the Ride for hosting a wonderful event for the 21st year in a row!
Crossroads is one of dozens of youth service non-profits in Eastern Massachusetts that participates in the Ride. So far this year Crossroads has raised $437,322.06 for our kids, and the Ride participants have raised over 4 MILLION DOLLARS total for youth!!
Thanks to the support of our riders, donors, corporate sponsors and foundation partners we are able to send 50 teens on a College Tour of New England every summer, keep 500 of the kids we serve involved in year-round programming, and create a true family of youth ages 7-17 and beyond.
But even more than the fundraising, the Ride is about sharing a community of people dedicated to serving youth in our area. Crossroads is so grateful for and proud of all our volunteers, particularly our program participants, for being such enthusiastic members of the Ride community this year! We are especially proud that a Crossroads teen has been chosen each of the last 3 years to be the youth speaker at the post-Ride BBQ- congratulations to this year’s speaker, Taryn Fennell, on a beautiful and inspiring speech!
