The Duxbury Stockade
The Duxbury Stockade, modeled after a colonial fort, can sleep up to 150 guests. Six Cabins surround the courtyard which is secured by a large closing gateway. Two further cabins are situated behind the Stockade, benefiting from the Stockade’s facilities while being more out-of-the-way. Features of the Stockade include a family style dining room that comfortably seats 60 guests. The dining room also features an indoor fireplace and assorted lighting options. A further indoor area provides space for relaxation, workshops or meetings. The spacious yet intimate outdoor courtyard encompasses picnic benches and log seating around a large fire ring. In the corner of the Stockade are two small ‘Director’ cabins which can hold up to two guests.
Camp Wing Villages
On the opposite side of camp to the Stockade are twelve rustic cabins which can accommodate ten guests in each. Each cabin contains overhead lighting and power outlets. The cabins are divided into two villages, each located around their own fire ring. Separate modern washhouse facilities are located behind the two villages. These house full showers with private changing areas, sinks and bathrooms. The villages are located close to the large Spread field, sand volleyball court and main dining hall
