Each summer, Crossroads for Kids hires over 200 seasonal staff members to work at our summer camp programs in a variety of roles. Our staff come from all over the USA and the world! Our staff are generally (but not limited to) ages 18 to 35, and are college students, graduates, school teachers and former campers. As a summer staff member, you will have an opportunity to meet people with a diverse range of experiences from many different cultures and backgrounds.

Full Time PositionsOUTREACH AND PROGRAM ASSISTANT
Crossroads for Kids, a thriving non-profit serving at-risk youth and based in Duxbury, MA, is seeking a highly-motivated individual with a contagious, positive attitude and exceptional skills to fill the position of Outreach and Program Assistant.
In this role, you will be coordinating our registration process for overnight summer camp programs for at-risk youth, including ensuring full enrollment of camp sessions, entering and maintaining accurate records, being in contact with families to develop financial aid packages, and working with agencies to coordinate camper sponsorship/referrals and management of finances. You will also provide administrative support to the program team in the areas of staffing, performing reference checks, creating and mailing fliers and letters to families and program participants, and assisting with report processing of camper demographics and statistics. In addition, you will assist with the smooth operation of our front office, answering phones and greeting visitors. As you will often be the first point of contact for our families, youth and agencies, we are looking for a friendly, intuitive, pro-active individual able to relate to everyone with equal maturity, compassion and positivity, ensuring that each request is met with outstanding customer service.
Exceptional communication, organization and computer skills are a must, along with an eye for detail and a commitment to our mission of transforming the lives of at-risk youth. This is a full time salaried position eligible for benefits including health and dental, with a starting salary of $25,000. Regular hours will be 9am – 5:30pm M – F.

About Crossroads for Kids: For 75 years, Crossroads for Kids has been dedicated to providing a safe, supportive community for Boston area at-risk youth, unlocking opportunities to transform their lives through summer camp and year-round programs. In May 2009, 41 young people became the first graduates of our intensive 5-year teen leadership program. Of these graduates, 100% graduated from high school, and 95% applied and were accepted to four-year colleges and universities. Many of these teens were the first in their family to attend college.
